The EU-LEAP team participated in a conference organized by Expertise France dedicated to the topic: "Understanding Corporate Governance Reform in the Context of State Ownership Rationalization: Privatization as a Factor Facilitating the Implementation of Reforms in State-Owned Enterprises."
The key discussion topic was how corporate governance helps manage state assets more effectively, why corporatization is an important stage on the path to privatization, and how these processes affect the day-to-day operations of enterprises.
"The experience of our French colleagues confirms that effective corporate governance in state-owned enterprises is not only about transparency, but also about creating conditions for their development and competitiveness." — Illia Mykhailov, Strategy Expert.

Special attention was given to France's experience — from strengthening oversight functions to improving the efficiency and transparency of state-owned companies.
Among the speakers were representatives of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the State Property Fund of Ukraine, the State Enterprise "Energy Company of Ukraine," the French state institution CGEFI, and French state-owned companies.
For our team, which works on corporate governance issues in state-owned enterprises, this was an excellent opportunity to hear the practical experience of Ukrainian and French colleagues and draw valuable insights for current and future projects.
