Valeriia Hrytsenko, Executive Director of EU-LEAP, opened the event and introduced the think tank's team, as well as presenting some of the projects the organization is working on.
Ilya Mikhailov, strategic advisor at EU-LEAP, outlined the mission, goals, values, and areas of activity, which include public sector asset management, de-shadowing of the economy, corporatization and corporate governance, investments and partnerships, financial, tax, and budget policy, land reform, and spatial development.
Oksana Rak, legal advisor at EU-LEAP, presented a number of projects related to corporatization, property valuation, management of problem assets of state-owned banks, protection of creditor rights, ARMA reform, and others.
EU-LEAP also organized a panel discussion on “Corporatization and corporate governance in state-owned and municipal enterprises: current challenges,” which was attended by representatives of parliament, government, and international organizations.
The presentation served as a starting point for further work with partners and stakeholders on projects that EU-LEAP supports in the field of public policy.
We would like to thank all participants for the meaningful discussion and their willingness to join in the next stages of the work.
Report
EU-LEAP annual report 2025
This year has been a turning point for us.
EU-LEAP has finally established itself as a fully-fledged think tank that works systematically and responsibly on reforms of public assets, economic policy, and property management.
2025 means:
daily analytical and expert support for legislative initiatives;
working in conjunction with parliament, ministries, communities, and international partners;
projects that don't just “research the problem” but bring solutions to policy and regulatory changes;
built internal capacity, from research and advocacy to communications and partnerships.
We have invested a lot of time in analytics, quality of argumentation, working with stakeholders, and trust, because that is what brings results in reforms, not loud slogans.
But the greatest value this year is the EU-LEAP team. A team that keeps pace, is not afraid of difficult topics, takes responsibility, and sincerely believes that systemic change is possible, even in very difficult conditions.
We thank all our partners for their trust and our team for their dedication, professionalism, and internal resilience.
We know exactly why we are doing this and we are moving forward.
Special and unconditional thanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the opportunity to work, build institutions, implement reforms, and support the country where it is really needed.
