June proved to be a month of fundamental and historic changes for Ukraine. The defining event of the summer's start was the launch of the largest transformation of military service, which introduces new types of contracts, record salaries for infantry, and automatic transfers through the "Army+" system. Alongside this, the Verkhovna Rada and the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a package of European integration decisions: from new rules for railway transport and the organic market to the Budget Declaration for the next three years. Also in June, businesses were permitted to fix electricity prices, veterans received simplified access to services through the "Diia" app, and defense expenditures were increased by UAH 1.56 trillion.
